One-on-One Sessions
Players get the chance to work one-on-one with our coaches in a private setting to improve their skill set. The sessions are tailored to the player taking part in order to address areas of weakness and make necessary improvements.
The coaches evaluate the players ball striking technique, technical proficiency, mental fitness and give them additional drills to complete outside of the Academy to help them improve. For these reasons, our athletes have flourished the most during these sessions.
Depending on the coaches weekly availability, sessions can be scheduled on the weekends or during the week.
Group Sessions
The Academy hosts group classes in the area of Maribyrnong every Saturday morning.
Under 13-16's begin at 9am and under 9-12's begin at 11am.
Our Girls program for under 13-17's is also up and running which is a 9am start every Sunday.
In a competitive setting with other skilled players, the group sessions are an excellent way for players to be challenged.
The sessions goal remains the same as in previous ones, but there are many interesting and more engaging drills that can be done with the players.
To ensure that each player receives individualised attention and instruction, we limit the number of players in each group session to ten.
Holiday Programs
Every school holiday break, JCFA holds late-morning midweek sessions.
JCFA rents out indoor spaces like Elite Football and conducts skill-based, targeted training sessions.
It's a huge favourite among parents and players, and it's usually the most entertaining for both coaches and players.
